UNICOM Systems, Inc. acquires SoftLanding Systems

MISSION HILLS, CA – October 25, 2006 – UNICOM® Systems, Inc., global leader in CICS system management solutions, today announces the September 28, 2006 acquisition of System i-based change management vendor SoftLanding Systems, Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

The purchase represents UNICOM 's expansion into the System i market. UNICOM will work with SoftLanding to develop international markets and further invest in application lifecycle management technology to bring greater efficiency to bear within customers' IT departments.

Under the new arrangement, UNICOM will assume certain administrative and financial duties associated with ongoing maintenance of SoftLanding's products.
